Four Sidmouth Running Club juniors took part in the Beer Blazer Fun Run on Sunday, with Reuben Johnson finishing in 4th position in 5:57 out of a field of 82.

On Sunday Rex Wheaton took part in the 1 mile fun run, organised by Honiton Running Club alongside the Ottery 10k.

SRC’s Richard Summerhayes travelled to America to take part in the Boston marathon and had a superb run. 

Sidmouth Running Club members have been busy gaining new PB’s, entering events they never thought they would and, on the whole, enjoying beautiful weather.

Sunday saw Sidmouth Running Club’s very own race, the Exe to Axe, take place, with over 200 runners taking part including 21 Mighty Greens.

Four Sidmouth Running Club juniors plus parents including leaders Donna and Grahame Womersley-Westlake travelled to Templeton near Tiverton on Sunday to take part in the Feighan Fury.

Sidmouth Running Club was represented by Yasmin Salter and Alice Gill on Sunday at the Bath Half organised by London Marathon Events. 

There was a fantastic Mighty Green turnout for the Grizfest and Grizzly this weekend at Seaton.  The events organised by Axe Valley Runners and supported by lots of local organisations are a highlight of any runner’s year.

SRC junior leaders Grahame and Donna Womersley-Westlake immersed themselves in the River Dart Rumble alongside daughter Amelia and SRC junior Christopher Witkowski last weekend.

The 4 triggers have a lot to thank Mighty Green David Wright for; not only did he step up to the mantle when he heard Marion and Robert Hayman were stepping away from organising the 4 Trigs after 7 years, he arranged perfect running conditions including a full day of sunshine!
