Ten Is The Magic Number For Sidmouth Running Club
Sidmouth running club have been present at two hilly, muddy cross country 10 milers recently.
Scott Chown, Clare Bray and Sarah Watkins took part in SWRR’s popular Drogo 10. Scott finished in 113th place out of a field of 455 in 1:50:47 and the ladies finished in 2:25:07.
Next up was the Budleigh Blister organised by the Exmouth Harriers. Clare and Sarah along with fellow Mighty Green Christy Ward opted for the ‘Lite’ 5 mile option. Christie finished in 16th place out of a field of 48 in 51:31 with Clare and Sarah finishing in 1:06:30.
Kate Marriot was the first MG to finish the full 10 mile Blister, 67th out of a field of 213 in 1:22:07. Ronnie Masters, Christine and Karen Farnham finished in 1:41:24 and Don and Deb Cawthera finished in 1:46:14.
