Mighty Greens Christine and Karen Farnham enjoyed the undulating Jurassic Coast 10k last weekend. Based from Budleigh the event was a fundraiser for Force Cancer charity; Christine finished in 56.20 and Karen in 59.56.
The popular Ottery 10k organised by Honiton Running Club saw 8 Mighty Greens enjoy the flattish run on lanes around Ottery St Mary. Louise Dalton was the first female SRC to finish in 20th place and 3rd female overall in 41.53. The Mighty Green is continuing a succession of runs including last week’s East Devon Round where she was first female to finish the half distance in 8:08:25. Roger Worthington was the first male SRC to finish the Ottery 10k, the new club run leader is going from strength to strength. Emma Grainger did the club proud, running in the 70+ age category and taking some great photos. She was delighted to meet Jo Pavey MBE.
