This week (Feb 23rd), the Friday run will start from Jacob's Ladder (top), at 10am. Hopefully, the 'Beast From The East' will not have fully arrived, by then. If it has, we'll need some climbing to warm us up, or coffee afterwards, perhaps!

Or rather Anna Read does. I’ll have it for her please Justin

Actually no I won’t thanks! She has just booked a ski trip 🙄

Oh no! How come Justin Ashby, plenty of time to get over any ailments before then!

Michał Leśniak wants one I believe.

Yes for Michał Leśniak, can I reserve on his behalf?

Bummer, sorry to hear that

Any idea if it will be a hilly route, Helen? Not so sure about 13m, but willing to give it ago.

Not hilly, one climb from Newton Pop up to Joney’s cross and okay from there, just the usual Devon undulations. It would be great to see you xx

Hmmm I'll have a think about it. I have Jo's 9mile as option too then. Thanks!

Hi Terry. Hope club going well. May return for quick 2 miles one day if I think old knees will hold up. Best, paul

Is it OK if Greg Ward brings a dog to the Sunday run. No worries if that causes any problems.

Yes dogs are welcome

Apologies but I am unable to lead on Sunday as I am full of cold and breathing is a bit of a challenge!!

Hope you’re feeling much better soon, Helen 😷xx

This week (Feb 16th), the Friday run will start from Tipton St John Playing Field car park, at 10am. Finally, that wretched jet stream has decided to leave us all in peace for a few days. So, it might even feel almost like Spring has arrived. Be warned, don't pack the warm coats away just yet, though! Winter may well return during next week.

Ah Tipton! On the doorstep, lovely. Should there be any takers for coffee, I am happy to put the kettle on and provide cake...🍪🍩🥧☕

However much I love half term, I always dislike it on the Friday morning... Next week....

Hi there my husband Greg Ward is contemplating running with you tomorrow morning if he can . He's new to the club. He's wondering how far you might run and If he could bring our whippet. No problem if it's not for dogs. Thanks Christie.

I'll try and make it too and would definitely be up for coffee Jo 😊

Coffee sounds good, Jo. Thanks! I'll sort the weather, and a route that avoids all mud--more than knee deep, that is!

And cattle 🐄 John!?

OK, Jane. I'll find some cattle for you, if that's what you want! Or, if you prefer, we can take an udder route.

I herd you would moove the route if poss

Now you're milking it, Jane, but I love a bit of cheesy humour!

These jokes are so moooooooving🐂🐄

Word of warning. It will be cows' milk in the coffee🐄☕

You’re all creaming it now
