Message from the Race Organiser

 Dear Competitor,

Please click on the links for the entry form and for information  on The Four Trigs Challenge 2022.

Please note that bearing in mind, we are trying to provide as “covid-safe” an event, as is possible, we have made the following changes and there will be further and more detailed information closer to the event.

The following changes are being considered:

-Nature of the race: We will probably be using the app MapRunF and possibly Strava as an alternative. Details to follow.

-Entries: Entry forms need to be returned electronically if possible. Payment by BACS preferred.  Forms are available, see entry form. Please note however that this is NOT an event run by the Sidmouth Running Club and that all correspondence needs to come via me.

Registration: there will be registration on the day to help with the safety of the event, details to follow.

-Briefing: To avoid holding the briefing outside the Sailing Club as usual, we will send it electronically the week leading up to the event.

Marshals: Marshals will be out on the course at Four Elms, Whitecross, Sidbury and The Donkey Sanctuary. Hopefully refreshments will be available at these points.

-Facilities: Toilet facilities and hand sanitiser will be made available.  However, at the present time we are unable to say with any certainty, what other facilities can be provided and whether any post-race refreshments will be on hand.

Please also note: Carried over from 2020:

-Maximum entries: 150 runners.

-There will be NO reserve list.

-There are NO Entries on the day.

-Runners must sign in and collect their own numbers.

-The swapping of numbers will NOT be permitted i.e. you are not allowed to pass your entry to another person.

-Please note that this is a running event and that there is a cut off point of 6 hours. Competitors unable to meet this requirement, on the day, will be asked to return to the Sailing Club.

-Refunds are unavailable once your entry form has been submitted and money paid into the bank.*

-Please let me know if you are an FRA member and I will send you a separate entry form or one can be downloaded from the FRA website.

The closing date for entries is 31st January 2022.

At this stage, as you will all appreciate, there are many unknowns re covid guidance/regulations. I will obviously keep you updated nearer the time regarding any changes, particularly concerning registration, available facilities and refreshments.

I look forward to receiving your entries and being in contact with you.

Kind regards and good luck with the training.

Marion Hayman

*Please note that in the event of the race having to be cancelled for any unforeseen reason, a full refund will be offered.
